PROJECT DETAILS
As part of the redesign of the area surrounding the historic city walls of Antibes, a fully pedestrian-friendly zone was created – stretching from the forecourt of the Musée Picasso to the Jardin des Poètes. In this iconic location, the goal was to enhance the existing beauty and atmosphere. The City of Antibes installed elegant limestone benches, positioned around an oak tree and two fig trees – creating a space for people to meet, pause, and enjoy the sea view. To stage these seating elements in a visually appealing way, the city relied on the lighting expertise of WE-EF Lumiere. For the optimal lighting solution, a combination of luminaires from WE-EF and LED Linear™ was selected. Integrated into the seating is VENUS True Color Top View IP67. A luminaire that, thanks to its homogeneous light distribution and high protection rating, is ideal for outdoor public spaces. It offers subtle yet effective architectural accentuation. Since its renovation, this area has become one of the most photographed spots in all of Antibes – a successful example of how design, functionality, and atmosphere can be harmoniously combined.
