PROJECT DETAILS
At the Center for Puerto Rican Studies (CENTRO), a cultural and research institution dedicated to preserving and advancing the Puerto Rican experience, lighting supports both academic work and community engagement.
The Axis Lighting Sketch was selected for its ability to translate architectural intent into a clear and adaptable lighting system. Its customizable linear and curved configurations integrate seamlessly with the space, helping define pathways, support collaborative areas, and highlight moments of cultural importance.
Sketch offers the flexibility to respond to a variety of applications, from open gathering spaces to focused research environments. Its clean form and range of mounting options contribute to a cohesive visual language throughout the project.
In this environment, lighting works alongside architecture to create a space that is functional, welcoming, and connected to the institution’s mission.
