VISO BRAND COLLECTION LIGHTS-UP $38 MILLION DINOSAUR HOUSE IN BEVERLY HILLS
Our VISO Brand Collection is featured prominently in a spectacular $38 Million estate located in a quiet neighbourhood minutes from the heart of Beverly Hills. 1300 Beverly Estate Drive is a palatial, three-story hillside retreat that boasts panoramic views of the city below and ocean beyond. Within this stunning architectural gem are VISO’s Fort Knox, Ring and Cubie fixtures.
Nicknamed the “Dinosaur House”, the property is designed by Ameen Ayoub Design Studio. Interiors were designed by Lorenzo Cascino, brand ambassador for Italian design firm Visionnaire. But what makes this house truly unique is the inclusion of an Allosaurus skeleton which is over 100 million years old!
The Products
Highlighting the Jurassic-era skeleton are VISO’s Fort Knox pendants in Copper hanging directly above the fossil in the double height front foyer. The cluster includes all three sizes of the Fort Knox’s available from VISO and is suspended from its own canopy. As a result, the pendants add an electric touch of metal and colour to the entrance which feature floor to ceiling windows.
Fifty Cubie pendants in Smoke, Amber and Clear hang from a 36” round canopy with a 38” mirrored acrylic in the grand dining room that also has double height ceilings. Each pendant is hung at various lengths from the canopy, with the longest drop being 17ft and the shortest being 3ft, and lit with a G4 2w LED. The fixture sits directly above the dining table, in front of a floor-to-ceiling black marble wall. This creates a stunning contrast with the white walls throughout the property.
Illuminating the double islands in the kitchen are five VISO Ring suspensions in SM, MM and GM sizes. Finished in Hairline Bronze, each Ring hangs from its own canopy, also finished in Hairline Bronze, with clear and aircraft cables at various heights. The five Rings create a dynamic effect in the kitchen, and offers a spectacular view over the hills of Hollywood and the city of Los Angeles.
The property is developed by Ralston Investments and is listed for just under $38 million.
