Light reflected in the river
The new facility of the Faculty of Medicine in Maribor stands on the banks of the Drava river, creating an unique architectural impression. Along the water and mostly by glass facade which creates a repulsive image of the light that is reflected on the surface of the river.
Selected luminaires and light design followed the concept less is more to reach an efficient lighting solution.
Light played an important role in designing the building. The effect of light lines of Gyon and Hunter Flex supported the architectural solution.
Gyon provides a high quality general illumination and also creates a clean look that we're used from other medical institutions.
