PROJECT DETAILS
Until the end of 2022, the SNCF Réseau carried out work at the Lyon Part-Dieu station to build a new track and new access to the platforms for users. This station welcomes 120,000 people daily and is the gateway to France’s 2nd business district. Its location, at the heart of the high-speed lines and the TER network, makes this station a true hub for passenger and freight transport. With the increase in passenger numbers, Lyon Part-Dieu station had reached its limits in terms of capacity. As part of the Etoile Ferroviaire Lyonnaise project, SNCF Réseau and its partners have chosen to strengthen its infrastructure.
LED Linear™ France has been able, thanks to the long-standing partnership with LEA, the associated lighting designers, to propose its high-performance lighting solutions and thus illuminate many infrastructures including the Villette and Pompidou spaces and galleries.
Several hundred linear luminaires from the XOOMINAIRE™ 4262 series (see also MARS ARCHITECTURAL Surface) now illuminate and highlight this magnificent building.
