Some gardens are designed to be appreciated twice — once in daylight, and again after dark. This garden in the hills of Varese, is one of them.
Landscape architects created a mosaic of interconnected outdoor spaces around a renovated residence: birch groves, a bio-pool that mirrors nearby lakes, prairie island plantings, and a traditional swimming pool framed by mixed borders. The ambition was to make each area feel alive and worth exploring through every season and every hour.
How It Was Done
The lighting had to match that ambition without overpowering it. Bullard Bollards supplied a combination of outdoor bollards (OOLITE SMOOTH, Art. 1112A) and path markers — the PRIA BRENTA, PRIA SERIO, PRIA MINI, and TOOTH series — all crafted in BETALY®, the brand's proprietary resin-based material.
