PROJECT DETAILS
When you enter the Danish engineering firm INGENIØR’NE, a beautiful cluster of Patera lamps greets you. The modern chandeliers light up the historical building that used to be a post office, emphasising the architecture and the uniqueness of the space. The pendants work as a glowing focal point, adding natural, even, and glare-free light while creating a feeling of sophistication and quality in line with the values of the company.
The selected Louis Poulsen fixtures at INGENIØR’NE work together harmoniously and create a positive perception of the company both internally and externally, striking the right balance between design and functionality while staying true to the architecture and history of the building.
Moving on to the offices, the LP Grand Suspended pendants ensure a perfect working light. The light from this meticulously designed pendant allows the consulting engineers to perform their very best, and in case of virtual meetings in front of the computer, illumination is never an issue. The pendant has a horizontal, flat volume that does not take up too much space, and throughout the offices arrays of pendants create a strong visual expression that fulfil a decorative purpose as well as a functional one.
In areas with lower ceilings, the Circle Semi Recessed is installed. This round fixture emits a pleasant and diffuse light, and the collar gives the fixture character, adding an extra dimension to the interior.
A row of brass Doo-Wop pendants is used to define the space around the countertop in the common area. The pendants have a distinct and informal design and primarily provide a downward directed soft light, perfect for creating an inviting and pleasant zone to meet in. Doo-Wop was originally introduced in the 1950's, and was used for many years in the buildings of the Navy.
