PROJECT DETAILS
Activity in the auditorium is colorful, loud and lively – the heart of every school building. mawa has equipped the assembly room of the Joan-Miró Grade School in Berlin-Charlottenburg with four profile crown lights from the wittenberg series.
Their imposing diameters of four meters each correspond to the dimensions of the room without stealing the show from the impressive wooden beams in the ceiling. In conjunction with swivel-mounted lighting heads, the chandeliers generate a homogenous, optimal illumination. Added honeycomb grids reduce the possibility of glare and increase usability and visual comfort. Emergency lighting modules incorporated in the chandeliers, as desired by the client, increase safety.
Surface-mounted spotlights from the seventies series supplement the overall lighting in the central space, and discretely disappear between acoustic panels. Above the stage, they provide high-performance lighting for great shows. All-in-all, ideal conditions for the cultural diversity of a space which incorporates both a standard primary school and a state-sponsored european school under one roof. We say: „Let the show begin!“
Scope of work
4 × profile crown light wittenberg (⌀ 4000 mm) made of 125 mm bent profile material, powder-coated according to DB703, with Reutlinger suspension incl. 36 × wittenberg spotlight head, LED 8,4 W, 3000 K, CRI > 90, beam angle 24°, 36 × honeycomb grid, incl. LED Converter DALI Dim
25 × seventies surface-mounted spotlight (se-23-4-9005) black dull matt (9005), 26 W, 2600 lm, 3000 K, CRI > 90, beam angle 20°, DALI Dim
