PROJECT DETAILS
The LUMEN building is the jewel of the Lumière cluster and is characterized by architecture and design adapted to its use. LUMEN is a place for technology and innovation and features experimental areas, showrooms and laboratories. The commercial property is designed for networking and collaborative work. It is an ideal environment for the organization of conferences, seminars and training courses on light and lighting. LUMEN also wants to anticipate future uses and become the place of reference for the lighting solutions of tomorrow.
To emphasize LUMEN's iconic and innovative image, light is an integral part of the building. The facades are made of textured, curved ochre concrete and capture natural light. During the day, the lighting highlights the interiors, revealing details of the design and shaping shadows. At night, it accentuates the lightness of the building and the freedom of the open spaces, whose wooden ceilings are revealed.
500 KALYPSO IP67 luminaires with a light color of 3,000 Kelvin were installed over several floors as indirect lighting in the side walls of the building. To create the unique circumferential color effect, 90 digitally addressable RGBW luminaires (LED Linear™ France production) were also used and programmed.
