PROJECT DETAILS
The name of the new roundabout in Båstad was named Märta Måås-Fjetterström's roundabout. Textile artist Märta Måås-Fjetterström spent a lot of time in Båstad and opened a studio here in 1919. She found a lot of inspiration for her textile patterns in nature on the Bjäre Peninsula. The decoration of the roundabout is inspired by Märta's rug called Bruna heden and contains a lighting sculpture in corten steel together with a lighting installation which forms a beautiful pattern on the surrounding surfaces. The design was developed by Marie Eriksson in collaboration with our bespoke workshop Ateljén. The pattern on the surrounding surfaces has an adjustable color temperature of 2700-5800K.
