PROJECT DETAILS
One of London's most celebrated five-star hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park exudes an enticing mix of elegance and luxury. With world-famous restaurants and a stunning spa, we offer a fashionable and timeless base in the centre of the British capital.
In June 2018, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London will complete its multi-million pound renovation of the entire hotel. Inspired by the natural beauty of neighbouring Hyde Park, internationally renowned designer, Joyce Wang, has overseen the new design of all the rooms, suites and public areas. The stunning reimagining of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London has been under the guidance of celebrated design guru Adam D Tihany.
London- and Hong Kong-based interior designer Joyce Wang leads the renovation, influenced by the glamor of the 20th century’s Golden Age of travel. The Edwardian heritage of the property will be celebrated through accents in the light and contemporary accommodations, which will overlook Knightsbridge of the inner courtyard. Each guestroom will feature a unique layout, alcoves, warm gray wall panels, and hand-gilded mirror artwork. Art Deco-inspired features and wildlife adornments will be present throughout the design paying homage to the natural beauty of the nearby Hyde Park. Leather-tufted headboards, large leather-topped writing desks, and rugs will be installed to complement the natural details.
Upgraded suites will also feature individual layouts and elegant hallways entrances, as well as walk-in closets and living areas appointed with velvet sofas, wing-back reading chairs, and leather-topped desks.
