PROJECT DETAILS
The lighting in this project was designed not to stand out in itself, but to become part of the architecture, follow its lines, details and materiality, highlight colors and show textures. It is designed for an intelligent, sustainable and efficient building, and a very pleasant place to spend time for both visitors and workers.
The lighting solutions follow all the premises designed in the building, selection of materials, color and all the special details. This makes the lighting a good supporter of the architecture itself.
The VIP meeting room, the library and the main toilet are among the areas with specially designed luminaire solutions. These rooms stand out from the general lighting design of the building.
The main focus has been to introduce an increased experience of daylight through specially adapted lighting installations in the rooms.
Flott from Intra Lighting has been used in the Munch Museum's library with a specially made plate with a diameter of 1400 mm to mimic a feeling of skylight.
The inner wall of the dynamic zone is illuminated with linear luminaires with optics adapted to the different ceiling heights, from end to end, mounted on top of the upper part of the walls to achieve a greater feeling of space and background for contrast.
