PROJECT DETAILS
Zumtobel participates in the renovation of technical monuments in the Lower Vítkovice (Ostrava)
Lower Vítkovice - district in Ostrava is one of the most alluring technical heritage sites in Czechia, and we are happy that we at Zumtobel can supply it with state-of-the-art lighting systems. The renovated buildings include, for example, the youngest branch of the National Museum of Agriculture in Ostrava, immensely interesting for its architecture; the indoor spaces are illuminated by Zumtobel "technical" luminaires.
The revitalized branch of the National Museum of Agriculture Ostrava in the Lower Vítkovice area specializes in food and agricultural machinery and its exhibits are divided between two original factory halls from 1926.
Visitors' attention is thus deserved not only by the interesting exhibitions, but also by the building itself, which was formerly part of the copper smelters.
The LEDCraft luminaires or the Tecton rail system fit perfectly into the original architecture, largely preserved during the renovation. And they also offer excellent lighting quality while keeping the energy consumption very low.
Take a trip to this unique industrial world during your next journey to Ostrava, it’s really worth it!
