PROJECT DETAILS
The modern office building, hosting the creative and administrative work behind the social media giant, Facebook in Sandyford near Ireland's capital, expands over nearly 16,000 square meters altogether, more than 2,600 sqm of which are office accommodation, overlooking the central space which is the 906 sqm airy atrium flooded with natural light.
The structure follows to the reception area where the pattern of barcodes replays on both sides.
Building's height lead to the creation of screens, or what in architecture is called rafts, were added to section the impressive height into additional structures.
The canopies presented an opportunity to incorporate both Intra lighting's Gyons on top, with pendant Pipes giving space localized sections underneath. Establishing light where needed, when needed, and as much as needed.
Opposite the entrance comes another doorway, but this one serves as a safe place for all the company's cycling enthusiasts. One of Ireland's troubles is the unmerciful rain. Here the back doorway was repurposed to become a bicycle sanctuary. The lighting in shape of circular clusters of Intra lighting's Round Waves, suspended from the ceiling replicates the Dublin's map, and with a mimicking circular pattern giving a number of the distance traveled for the first morning victories.
Clean, industrial look lead to shaping the rest of the design in a mimicking patterns.
The tall window greets you upon entering Nova Atria South. It serves as a portal to the world of digital creation on the inside.
