On the Beach, an online retailer of beach holidays, has unveiled its impressive beach-themed office in Ancoats.
Following a multi-million pound design and re-fit, the online travel agent has turned a former aircraft factory in Manchester into a state-of-the-art digital headquarters. The new 34,507 sq ft campus-style office encourages innovation and collaboration with a 250-seat auditorium, games room and beach bar as well as break-out rooms and a virtual aquarium. The upper floors include open-plan office space, creative working areas, beach-themed lounges and state-of-the-art technology throughout. Hacel were at the forefront in providing class-leading luminaries featuring Connected smart lighting technology, offering intelligent, revolutionary wireless lighting control.
