DUBAI’S ORRA HARBOUR RESIDENCES GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR RESIDENTS BY CREATING A 5-STAR HOTEL FEELING AT HOME IN A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING. PRECIOSA WORKED WITH DUBAI-BASED INTERIORRA PROJECT MANAGEMENT. THE TEAM HAD PREVIOUSLY VISITED OUR FLAGSHIP STORE IN PRAGUE AND FELL IN LOVE WITH A LIGHT FROM OUR COLLECTIONS PORTFOLIO, MERCURY.
A daring piece, one of Mercury’s best design elements is the ability of its surface to reflect light. Czech designer Rony Plesl used striking brass to create a confident installation while still reflecting refinement and luxury.
Two Mercury chandeliers hang in the lobby of Orra Harbour. Preciosa customized them by adjusting the colour of the wires (a key design element of Mercury). The design team requested yellow, instead of red, to match the couches in the lobby.
