After two years of Puskás Aréna construction, Europe has the new modern place to host sport and cultural events. The current budget of the construction is about 610 million euro and it is funded by the Government of Hungary. The stadium of the Hungarian Football Federation with capacity of 68.000 seats meets all UEFA and FIFA stadium requirements and that is why it will host the UEFA Euro in June 2020.
There are two visible elements distinguishing the stadium from other football stadiums: from outside you can see the concrete round mosaic and in the VIP floor there is a unique lighting system in shape of „fish bones“. István Vonnák from West Hungaria Bau said, „Czech manufacturer of luminaires Halla a.s. brought the good quality for reasonable price and that was very important for us because we used about 7 km of the linear luminaires to create mentioned “fishbone pattern”. Moreover, used product Lipo60 was easy to mount, which was very important in case of such huge construction. “ Also, other Halla products were successfully used. Luminaires Huge in amount of 1.800 pieces are used in sky-boxes and saloons in VIP zone floor, in foyers in the ground floor and in the entrance hall for players entering the grass playground. Huge luminaires bring good light and joy and nicely complements the interior. Let’s hope they will motivate the players to give the best of them at the match.
