Modern looking hospitals create an image, that is somehow different to the picture of hospitals we carry around in our minds.
If in the past looks meant nothing in the process of healing, now the feeling is everything. And it starts with lighting.
Combination of general lighting and spots to create dynamics is the right prescription to warmer environment in which patients feel good.
An outside atrium helps patients and their visitors to spend some quality time together ... in an environment, that doesn't look like hospital at all.
