PROJECT DETAILS
Having a vibrant and well-designed workspace is becoming increasingly meaningful for both businesses and employees. It’s no wonder that T-Mobile, one of the most recognizable telecommunications companies in the world, decided to update their headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. GVA Lighting is pleased to be part of this upgrade by supplying the STR9 Lite – RGBW luminaires that light the bridges, connecting the different buildings.
Thanks to the ingenuity in the award-winning collaboration between Gensler and Seattle-based Dark Light Design, T-Mobile’s 1.4-million-square-foot headquarters has an updated look and ambience with new amenities and services for their many employees. One of the key features of the renovation is the use of T-Mobile’s signature magenta color, which is a vital symbol of the brand’s cultural identity. This color was expertly incorporated into the lighting design, adding a pop of vibrancy throughout the workspace.
The use of magenta and white light throughout the design is visually pleasing AND functional. The design team made sure that every STR9 – Lite luminaire was carefully installed to illuminate, aesthetically and efficiently. The glowing magenta bridges connect the various campus buildings. These bridges supply easy access for employees and add a visually stunning element to the entire headquarters’ design. The result is brand-reflective, with a cohesive look and feel – an ideal environment for productivity.
The entire renovation of T-Mobile’s headquarters in Bellevue, Washington is proof of the power of beautiful and innovative design. The collaboration between Gensler, Dark Light Design and GVA Lighting has resulted in a space that not only looks and feels amazing but enhances the productivity and experience of T-Mobile’s employees too.
