PROJECT DETAILS
The Boardwalk on Science Center Drive, designed by Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects, is a $164 million life science campus located in the heart of San Diego’s biotech market. The flexible, multi-tenant science research campus comprises three buildings with both interior and exterior amenities to support scientific research.
The building design emphasizes a common architectural style and introduces a unifying circulation experience called The Boardwalk that connects the three-building campus to the featured common areas. An intricate pattern made of Seem 1 Acoustic Trio, unlit and with direct illumination, visually connects the spaces with a dynamic ceiling design that also provides optimal illumination and dampens sound for occupants’ comfort.
