Europe’s biggest online bingo firm, Tombola, has unveiled its new £7m head office in Sunderland’s Wylam Wharf.
The new 25,000 sq ft headquarters building has been designed with the history and surroundings of the riverside in mind. The multiple pitch roof and brick construction with three floors of flexible office space reflects the warehouses which characterise the banks of the River Wear. The modern and technologically advanced open plan offices and a three storey high atrium commanded modern, architectural lighting and Hacel were at the forefront in providing class leading LED luminaires - all designed and manufactured in the UK. The Tombola headquarters feature a range of high quality and performance lighting with UGR less than 19 and offers an abundance of natural light helping to maintain a stimulating environment for the company.
