130.000 volumes, 3.000 manuscripts, incunabula, incisions, photographs. For this historic library of the end of ‘600, Lanzini contributed to renew the lighting of the central room, the beautiful Borromini Salon.
Borromini Salon of Vallicelliana Library of Rome shines with a new light. After the recent restauration in 2016, Biblioteca needed a correct illumination, to enhance its important architectural context. The client’s needs were satisfied by means of 18 floodlights R1 120W, with the colour temperature 3000K and a symmetric lens 90°, installed at the foot of every column and hidden from the original library on the mezzanine.
