New construction of the Weiss-Röhlig logistics center in Dubai offers a one-stop solution for logistics, customs clearance and freight forwarding, serving as a gateway for the Far East and Europe. Strategically located in the South district of Jebel Ali Freezone, the logistics terminal is a state-of-the-art facility, covering over 100,000 square feet, and providing covered space for more than 8,000 pallets.
The new logistics center is another example of the long-standing collaboration between Weiss-Röhlig and Zumtobel. To meet high requirements in efficiency and quality, Zumtobel’s TECTON and MIREL LED luminaires were selected for the project. TECTON continuous-row lighting system is used throughout all storage facilities, chosen for its flexibility and ease of installation. The TECTON trunking system allows for quick changes of luminaires as structural or functional layout modifications arise. In addition, the high luminaire efficiency of 148 lm/W contributes to substantial energy savings. In office areas, MIREL LED luminaires provide perfect lighting for varied visual tasks. MIREL LED delivers a high-quality, energy-efficient solution with an unobtrusive design, perfect glare control, and batwing light distribution. Both TECTON and MIREL LED contribute to a bright and comfortable work environment in their respective applications.
